Seattle cider Co. Honey crisp Cider

What a day. Was misty in Portland. We DID go over mount good highway. SNOW. But was brief. Lovely ride to Bend. Headed east along state highway 20. Encountered snow showers. Cleared up as we got closer to Burns. Got to our campground around 4:30. Cold out.  But we had dinner and bunked down early.  I didn't drink my cider. Tomorrow is another day

This is the trip eve evening. Done with work, done with all the errands. Time for a step 2. Time for some refreshment.  Here is one of my latest favs. Bright , of course refreshing but with a wonderful addition of a hint of lime and a back mouth feel of chillies. Not too extreme. Goes well with any foods.  More on Portland Cider Company. They just one a big award internationally for their original gold variety. They make many varieties, I'm bringing their 'Kinda Dry' sixer on the trip.  When in the PNW look for these

This is a botanical gin. sells for about 29.99 ( they sell a barrel aged gin for 10 bucks more but this is wonderful as is. They do, if you can get it, sell a Pink Pinot Gin 39.99, its very special. But for the weekday need to take the edge off, the standard is exceptional for the price.  So we'll be reviewing bevs as we go in Bender, perhaps on a Bender to the east coast a...
